Evan Bell, a visual artist and art curator from Chicago, Illinois. 

I am a born and raised south side Chicagoan who specializes in Marketing, Content Creation, and Event Curation.  I have been working in the freelance photography space since 2016 specializing in portraiture. 

My Art

I want the impression of my photographs to leave a certain feeling with those who interact with it. Whether in person or digitally, I like to keep people guessing on my intentions but also what the person in the photograph is thinking. My work is very much straight forward as it is abstract and conceptual. Capturing human emotion and conviction through photograph is tough to do and is a learning experience every day.

Curating

Since 2014, I have hosted and curated events with the goal of providing space for unrecognized artists to present their work to those who love the culture. Through vehicles like The Loop & People's Collective,  I have leveraged the new found interest in art and culture and help shape a narrative that young artists can begin building their brands and make a name for themselves.
